[ Guess who's sitting outside of Red's room?

This guy. He's just sitting there with a plate full of fluff and peanut butter sandwiches all cut in half. He has Tal's hat on and the bill pushed down. He's looking at the tag that Tal made him and reading the next of kin list.

If she doesn't come around soon he'll eventually knock. ]

[She's going to get fat with how much food everyone is making her.

But that's alright she'll let Nine in.]

What's all this for?

[ All according to keikaku. He'll come in and offer one of the halves. ]

They make those marshmallows into a spread, yo. Richie showed it to me yesterday.

[ It's the best thing ever, but Nine isn't all smiles and grins like he was when he was first introduced to it. Just tired and sad. ]

Wasn't sure if you ever tried it.

[ She's from another place too...if he's keeping all the facts straight. There's way too much info and he's used to not keeping track.

Not that that's the reason he's here. ]

I've had it in fudge, but never like this.

Combine the fluff with chocolate. That's fudge. The camp store sells it, you know.

[ He's been giving a lot of tickets to Stan. Whoops. But he'll keep that in mind because Richie likes this so maybe he'll like that too?

He makes a sound and then shakes his head. ]

Hey, no. It's not like that, yo. [ Huffing out a breath as he crosses his arms.

Also rocks are technically what's on his mind... but he's not even thinking about that thankfully. ]

The kids. You know Eddie, Richie, Boa, and Chuuta. Hell, even Boa's little friend who can do those barriers. [ Mitsu smol ] Think there's a way to save them?

From camp, you mean?

From getting killed. I don't know if there is a way to get them out of camp unless they survive whatever the hell is going on.

Stay with them at night, and protect them if someone attacks them. That would be my recommendation.

I don't know if I can stay with them every night. I mean, there's never any guarantees here.

[ Tal was supposed to be there with them every night and look what happened there... ]

If we get split up for whatever reason... could there be a way I could know they were in danger? Would getting them whistles or COMMs work?

You could try whistles. I would recommend staying away from COMMs for a while, though.

They haven't this year yet, no.

Dan I found because I heard noises in the chapel and went to investigate. Chloe I found because I went to get food from the kitchen.

[ Just walking in on that... well the Pastor got a nice peaceful death, but... He's thinking of Tal wanting to wash the blood off his hands. How he had this need driving him to make sure the blood doesn't infect Nine at all. ]

If I ever give into the voices, I'll let you know, yo. [ Cause she cares... or something. And doesn't need to be surprised by brains or parts of kids all over the place.

But the whole this year reminds him of his other question. ]

Not during my time here, no. I never looked into the files for previous years, so it's possible someone came then.

A long time, as far as I know. The camp was here long before my organization took over, and they have been running it for....oh...at least fifty years now, I think? If not longer.

That's a whole hell lot of campers.

If we could change shit, would you help?

[Red looks like she really wants to say 'yes', but. She hesitates.]

The group I work for is...difficult at times. If you had a way to change things that didn't get everyone involved killed, I would help you, yes.

[ Nine isn't sure if he trusts her, but he has worked with people he doesn't trust before. ]
