Is the stone not their work, then?

The stone has been here for millions of years. They're just trying to protect the world from the stone.

How long have they been doing that? Do you know?

I only know that my organization has been in charge of the camp for some 50-odd years. The hunters were in the area before that.

[Another dead end... he's agitated, but he dislikes that too, tries to shove those feelings away and focus, focus on doing what needs to be done.]

How much do they know about the stone?

Not much, I would suppose. It's hard to know much about something that's difficult to comprehend.

Yet they still manage to learn about us personally, and suppress our powers.
