So, this stone...has anyone tried - you know. Taking it out? Breaking it, or something? Hell, I killed that extradimensional being I was talking about by having him possess me and then shooting my noggin with a memory eraser gun.

Actually, I don't remember that too good. Some things are still kind of fuzzy with that whole situation - the point is, I've seen what you can do, Red. You got...some kinda powers, that's for sure. Powers that being woulda killed to have. And you never tried taking this god thing out?

Of course I have tried talking with it, Stan.

[You think she would fall into despair without giving it a shot?]

The first couple of years, I tried to talk to it through the dead campers. I even tried to talk to it through Dan. But it always kept up the same act. I think it's toying with me, honestly.

I didn't say talk to it, Red. I said get rid of it.

[Please Red, this is Stan you're talking to. He punches first, and never asks questions.]

Stan, the Foundation won't let us just git rid of it. We have to convince them that the stone is so dangerous that the only choice we have is to destroy it.

Then just do that. I mean, it can't be that hard - this thing eats a bunch of kids every summer!
