He deals with strange things all the time in his world. Paranoia is not unfamiliar to him. He would know best how to handle it.

Maybe speak to him about it?

I had a few other questions, though. Like how we came to be here in the first place.

Given we don't remember any of it... is it the work of that drug you used on me?

I believe they use the same drug when they bring you in, yes.

Does the same drug affect us in such a way where we would walk ourselves into this camp?

No, it just knocks you out and removes memories.

Do you know what caused us to do that instead, then?

Some walked in of their own free will. Others had to be dragged in. Pretty standard for camp, really.
