[That makes him laugh brightly- he doesn't like archer. Both for how he arrived and for what happened to akechi ( he knows archer was very in the right to kill him. ren is aware of his biases here- he certainly wouldn't have wanted red to have died. but a blood oath runs deep). But he remembers the candid pictures- and seeing him doing so dorky as passing a note (maybe even a love note?) is charming.

Red: I need a favor.

Archer: ?

Red: The camp needs to be re-evaluated.

Archer: That's quite the favor.

Red: You're the only person I know with the clearance to do that. Will you do it?

Archer: You can't save them. Even if the rating is changed, they're not going to let those kids out alive.

Red: There's more. I'll explain when you get here. Everything's different this time.

Archer: I'll see you Monday.

[It's dated for Thursday of last week.]
