Nah for real she has a chocolate stash in there. Her phone is also on top of the night stand if Ren wants to snoop.]

[He resists the urge to steal any, but he does pick up the phone. He's seen most of it already, but maybe there's more texts from her boss]

[There's a text conversation with her and Archer:]

Red: Did you really slip a note under my door?

Archer: Yes?

Red: Honey.

Red: We have PHONES.

Archer: ...

[That's what is currently on screen, he'll have to scroll up more to see what's on there before that.]

[That makes him laugh brightly- he doesn't like archer. Both for how he arrived and for what happened to akechi ( he knows archer was very in the right to kill him. ren is aware of his biases here- he certainly wouldn't have wanted red to have died. but a blood oath runs deep). But he remembers the candid pictures- and seeing him doing so dorky as passing a note (maybe even a love note?) is charming.

[The conversation before that is much more somber.]

Red: I need a favor.

Archer: ?

Red: The camp needs to be re-evaluated.

Archer: That's quite the favor.

Red: You're the only person I know with the clearance to do that. Will you do it?

Archer: You can't save them. Even if the rating is changed, they're not going to let those kids out alive.

Red: There's more. I'll explain when you get here. Everything's different this time.

Archer: I'll see you Monday.

[It's dated for Thursday of last week.]

[So that explains the argument they had. Rating though? What could that mean...?]

There's also a message to 'dog' on her phone, if Ren looks.]

Red: I'm going to take your advice finally.

Dog: I'm glad to hear that.

[That one is from this week.]
