Apparently Sol, the god from that stone, just wants to be a human child who can grow up and live.

I think it's worth listening to them. They've told us all kinds of things we wouldn't have been able to know otherwise.

The organization referred to Sol originally as... 6219, was it?

And parts of Sol were stolen away by that creepy guy- Kurotsuchi, probably.

They're also the ones who told us to ask you about Marona. If their souls remain, they could be placed into bodies made by Kurotsuchi... in theory.

In practice, we would need someone to actually do that. Marona is the only one I know of who could do anything like that, and she's a bit too dead to help on that front.

I hate... all the ways you've forced us into becoming your sacrifices. All the ways you claim to protect us while throwing some to the wolves. You say you want us to live, but only the lucky survive here.

You can't save everyone without paying a price.

You can't. You can save as many as possible, but there will always be a cost. There will always be sacrifices- not living sacrifices, but sacrificing time. Sacrificing resources. Sacrificing opportunities. Even if it is possible, and every dead camper is revived, there's still a cost to that. If not in lives, then in something else.

You can't keep pushing and pushing and then suddenly everything turns out exactly the way you want it to. Everything has a cost. And right now I'm trying to make it so we pay as little as possible for as much as possible.

I'm not abandoning them. I'm just not letting myself say 'but maybe' when it's very likely that saving everyone from previous years as well will be too costly to justify.

And how do you know how much we've been sacrificing? How much they've been sacrificing, on their side, trying desperately to reach us.

Have you even considered the possibility? Does it scare you that much? That maybe their souls are all still there, that maybe they could have been saved, but you didn't look? Didn't listen?

If you're going to abandon them, [abandon Boa] you at least owe it to them to hear their words before you do.

Yes, of course it scares me! I never hated any of you!

I want them back more than anything! I don't want to leave them behind to face whatever the rock spirit might want to do with them! But I'm already selling my soul to the devil just for the chance to save the twenty-eight of you from this year! There's just not enough left of me to offer up as a sacrifice for more than that!
